Bright red printed admission ticket for a performance by Yordy Bros., Magicians and Ventriloquists, reading “Admit One.” The ticket features decorative Victorian-style typography with ornamental border designs framing the bold title and performance description. Printed in black ink on red stock, the layout reflects the graphic style commonly used for traveling theatrical and novelty entertainment acts of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

The ticket advertises a performance by the Yordy Brothers, a touring act combining magic and ventriloquism—two forms of popular stage entertainment frequently presented together in vaudeville programs, lyceum circuits, and small-town theater engagements. Such acts commonly traveled regionally, performing in opera houses, community halls, and fairground venues.

Ephemeral items such as admission tickets rarely survive in large numbers, as they were typically discarded after the performance. Surviving examples like this offer a small but evocative record of touring entertainment culture and the promotional materials used by performing magicians and ventriloquists during the period.
