Seven stereoviews published by the Keystone View Company document Alaska and the Klondike Gold Rush era, each mounted on the publisher's standard gray or orange cardstock with catalog numbers visible on several cards. Subjects span a range of documentary scenes from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, captured in silver-toned albumen and gelatin silver processes consistent with Keystone's production methods during that period.

Identified subjects include dog sled transportation north of the Arctic Circle, gold miners climbing to the summit of Chilkoot Pass, cannery tenders in winter quarters at Ketchikan, the Columbia Glacier with a steamship in the distance, a reindeer herd with Dr. Sheldon Jackson in Sitka, a dog team with handlers among snow-covered spruce trees, and a panoramic view of a coastal Alaska settlement with wharves and vessels.

Dr. Sheldon Jackson was a Presbyterian missionary and U.S. General Agent of Education for Alaska who introduced domesticated reindeer to Alaska in 1892 to provide a sustainable food source for Native communities, making that card among the most historically significant in the group.

Captions and catalog numbers are printed or embossed on the face and reverse of each card; series numbers visible include 1063, 1080, T199, P141, and 3070 among others.
