A real photo postcard dated 1934 captures two men in a composite studio scene: on the left, Tysik Hurka of Domažlice seated at a small round table in traditional Bohemian dress, and on the right, the painter identified as Bures seated before a large canvas on an easel. The photograph is signed with the stylized signature "Bures" in the lower left corner and was produced as a postcard format with a standard divided back. No photographer's imprint is visible.

Hurka wears a wide-brimmed dark hat, a white blouse with lace ruffles, a dark vest fastened with a row of buttons, and a decorative kerchief at the collar. Before him on the table sit a handled beer mug, a dark glass bottle, a tall glass, and what appears to be a cigar and ashtray. Bures is dressed in a dark suit jacket with a bow tie and holds a painter's palette loaded with pigments, a brush visible in his hand, while the canvas behind him depicts Hurka in the same costume raising a full beer stein.

The inscription on the reverse reads in Czech script: "Tysik Hurka z Domažlic s mistrem Burešem 1934," translating to "Tysik Hurka from Domažlice with Master Bureš, 1934." Domažlice is a town in the Bohemian region of what is now the Czech Republic, known for its preservation of traditional Chodian folk culture and costume.

The reverse bears the handwritten inscription and a penciled catalog notation in the upper right corner.
