Albumen cabinet card photograph reproducing a technical patent-style drawing of an early electric railway streetcar. The upper diagram labeled “Fig. 1” shows a side elevation of the car with decorative scrollwork supports for the overhead trolley pole and the words “Electric Railway” visible along the body of the vehicle. Below, “Fig. 2” illustrates the electrical collection apparatus beneath the overhead wire system, showing the mechanical arrangement used to draw power from the line.

At the lower margin the document identifies “Inventor – Leon P. Sicer” and lists “Witnesses – R. Smith Marsh.” The photograph captures the technical drawing mounted on card, likely produced as a photographic copy of a patent submission or engineering illustration associated with early electric street railway development during the late nineteenth century.

The reverse of the mount is blank. Photographs reproducing patent drawings and engineering designs are uncommon survivals that document the technological experimentation surrounding early electric transit systems.
