Albumen carte de visite portrait of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (1796–1875), photographed by F. Mulnier, 25 Boulevard des Italiens, Paris, circa 1860s–1870s. The sitter is shown half-length holding a pipe.

Corot was a leading French landscape painter and a central figure of the Barbizon school whose atmospheric studies of nature influenced the later development of Impressionism.

Photographer’s imprint for F. Mulnier, Photographie, 25 Boulevard des Italiens, Paris appears on the mount front and verso, with Exposition Universelle 1867 medal references printed on the reverse. Period pencil identification on the verso reads “Jean Baptiste Camille Corot 1796–1875.”
