Sepia carte-de-visite portrait mounted within an ornate printed oval frame design shows that it is a copy of an earlier tintype. The sitter, a young man wearing a dark coat and white collar, faces forward in a formal studio pose.
The mount is identified in ink “Moses Harrington” above the printed oval. Reverse with imprint E. O. Eddy, Wallingford, VT, and an affixed 2-cent U.S. Internal Revenue stamp.
