Group of three stereoview cards showing elaborate publisher advertising backs including catalog information, stereoscope promotion, and regional stereographic series. Albumen stereographs on printed mounts, late 19th century.

One mount advertises Stereoscopic Views of Vermont and Other Scenery photographed and published by T. G. Richardson of St. Albans, Vermont, with price lists and trade information. Another promotes the Bellevue stereoscope sold by C. H. Wheeler & Co. of Boston, illustrated with a stereoscope and descriptive text. A third mount carries extensive advertising for L. G. Thompson of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, including stereoview subjects and retail offerings.

The printed backs emphasize the commercial distribution of stereoscopic views and stereoscopes in the late 19th century and are often scarcer than the photographic views themselves. All mounts retain their original printed advertising text and publisher information.
