The second woman sits cross-legged to the right, holding a light-colored item with a long strand or cord running across their lap. Both women show their small, clearly bound feet. A small dog sits on the mat between the two figures, facing toward the camera. Behind them, a wooden box or crate sits near the wall, and bare tree branches cast shadows across the bricks, adding strong diagonal lines to the composition. On the reverse, the postcard has the printed “POST CARD” layout with a vertical AZO “PLACE A STAMP HERE” box and faint pencil writing and numeric notes along the top edge.
