Real photo postcard studio photograph depicting three male figures posed on a large "paper moon" prop that incorporates a sculpted Man in the Moon face at its center. The three men are arranged along the curved surface of the moon with a painted cloud backdrop and star motifs, in a composition that emphasizes the large scale and elaborate construction of this particular moon prop.

The reverse was mailed with a postmark dated 1912 and bears a handwritten ink address. The 1912 postmark is a useful reference point for the active period of this "paper moon" portrait studio. The three-figure male group with Man in the Moon face is a distinctive variant within the paper moon genre. The legible date makes this one of the most precisely datable cards in the collection.

The reverse reads: Mailed POST CARD reverse with postmark dated 1912, handwritten address. Handwritten inscriptions read: Ink address inscription on reverse.
