Real photo postcard studio photograph depicting two couples posed together on a large "paper moon" prop against a painted cloud and night sky backdrop with star motifs. The men are arranged at the edges of the composition with the women posed along the curved surface of the moon, their formal attire contrasting with the fantastical setting in the manner typical of novelty moon studio portraiture of the early twentieth century.

The reverse bears a standard divided POST CARD format with correspondence and address sections. Two couple group portraits are a less common variant within the "paper moon" genre and the well-executed painted cloud backdrop gives this card a strong atmospheric quality characteristic of the more elaborately equipped novelty studios of the period.

The reverse reads: Standard divided POST CARD reverse with correspondence and address sections. Handwritten inscriptions read: Pencil catalog notation visible.
