Real photo postcard risque partially nude studio publicity portrait of a stage performer identified by the printed caption “Dainty Dolly.” The photograph shows a theatrical costume pose typical of early twentieth century vaudeville or sideshow promotion.

The performer stands full length wearing a decorative costume with a short patterned skirt and a large fan‑shaped backdrop or prop spread behind the figure. The fan forms a semicircular halo around the body and is patterned with repeating designs. The subject poses with one arm raised and one leg bent forward, wearing stockings and light stage shoes. Studio lighting creates strong contrast between the dark background and the lighter costume and prop.

The front bears the printed text: “Dainty Dolly” and a number that appears to read “385”. The reverse reads: “POST CARD” with “ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPH” and standard correspondence and address layout. Handwritten inscriptions read: Pencil price notation “3.00” at top edge.
