Real photo postcard with a posed outdoor group portrait of three people, mother and father seated and daughter standing in a brick-walled courtyard. The mother and daughter clearly display thenr small, bond feet. A handwritten caption along the lower margin identifies the group as “Cook, wife + daughter.” Divided back with an AZO stamp box marking visible. The group is arranged in front of a brick wall with a window above and a doorway at right. The seated man at left wears layered clothing and holds a small puppy against his chest. At center, a woman sits on a wooden chair with a heavy robe-like garment and wrapped leg coverings, her bound feet set forward in small slip-on shoes. A younger daughter stands at right in a loose tunic and patterned lower garment, looking straight toward the camera. The daughter also displays her small bound feet. The photograph is tightly framed but retains enough background detail to show masonry texture, window latticework, and ground surface. On the reverse, the postcard is unused but includes faint pencil writing across the lower area, plus small penciled catalog-style notations at the top edge. The front bears the printed text: Cook, wife + daughter - L. H. [illegible]. The reverse reads: AZO triangle stamp box ca 1904-1918. Handwritten inscriptions read: E 181; 11/20/08; Eb.
