Real photo postcard depicting Betty Broadbent, the American tattooed performer, shown seated in a studio portrait highlighting extensive full-body tattoo coverage. The image bears a photographer’s mark at lower right reading “Plagott S.F.”, indicating San Francisco origin, and the AZO-style postcard back supports an early 20th century date. Broadbent (1909–1983) was one of the most recognized tattooed women in American sideshow history and a longtime attraction with major traveling exhibitions.

She is posed seated on a draped platform, wearing a short sleeveless dress and headband, smiling directly toward the camera. Her arms, chest, and legs are densely tattooed with figural designs, including portrait heads, classical figures, and narrative scenes, with particularly detailed imagery running along both legs and across the upper torso. She wears strap shoes with socks, and her relaxed pose emphasizes both the artwork and her presentation as a performer.

The reverse is a divided postcard back marked “POST CARD” with “Place Stamp Here” and “Correspondence” fields, along with a vertical “Piccott Co., Post Cards, San Francisco” imprint. Pencil notation at right reads “Col BX2 1/15/06 Vie Nov,” likely a later collector’s reference. The image represents a classic studio view of a well-known tattooed exhibition figure.
