A group of sixteen color-printed postcards depicting prominent Native American leaders and subjects, produced in the early twentieth century by multiple publishers. Identified subjects include Geronimo (Apache), Chief Sitting Bull (Sioux), Chief Wolf Robe (Cheyenne), Comanches How-Way, Kiowa Squaw "Navia," and Navajo Indians at home, with several cards bearing F. A. Rinehart copyright imprints from Omaha, Nebraska, and others published by the Omaha News Company, Coffeen-Schnliger Trading Co. of Sheridan, Wyoming, A. C. Bosselman and Co. of New York, and Raphael Tuck and Sons. The Custer Battlefield monument card, captioned "Cross Marks Spot Where General Custer Fell," rounds out the historical range of the group.

Subjects are rendered in vivid hand-applied color lithography, with regalia including feathered war bonnets, beaded breastplates, peace medals, fringed buckskin, and shell gorgets visible across the portraits. The Geronimo card shows him in a dark coat and broad-brimmed hat against a coral ground, while the Sitting Bull card presents him in braids and a red neckerchief with beaded adornments. A rear-view portrait of a warrior in full feathered regalia against a mountain landscape and a full-length standing figure of Kiowa Squaw Navia in layered fringe and beadwork are among the most visually striking cards.

F. A. Rinehart was a prominent Omaha photographer who documented Native American delegates attending the Trans-Mississippi Exposition in 1898, and his copyrighted portraits were widely reproduced as postcards in the decade that followed. Several cards in this group derive directly from that series, making them important documents of that photographic project.

Reverses include undivided and divided backs in various formats; several cards bear postmarks, handwritten messages, and penciled price notations, with postmarks including Elgin, Illinois, Los Angeles, and Nebraska cancellations.
