A contemporary daguerreotype depicting the serene Old Harbor in Goes, Holland, masterfully executed using traditional 19th-century techniques by Marinus J. Orteleé and Charlotte Edam. The image captures a picturesque canal lined with Dutch buildings and boats moored along the quay, with a distinctive white drawbridge suspended at center. The clarity and reflective depth of the image is characteristic of expertly produced modern plates, and the overall composition recalls the architectural precision and quiet mood of early European street scenes.

The plate is signed moeed and dated 2014 in the lower right. It was created using a hand-polished silver plate coated in 99.9% pure silver and finished with a 24-karat gold gilding layer. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity bearing original signatures and an embossed seal, confirming the work as a fully handmade and sealed daguerreotype following international conservation standards. A striking marriage of historic technique and modern vision.
