Group of 7 stereoview portraits depicting prominent historical and literary figures. One example is clearly identified as Author Mark Twain, shown reclining in bed while reading, an intimate portrait capturing the celebrated American writer in a relaxed domestic setting.

Another stereograph presents a portrait labeled Inventor Alexander Graham Bell, seated and reading at a desk, reflecting the continued public fascination with notable scientists and inventors. Additional portraits include literary and intellectual figures rendered in formal studio style, including a bearded portrait consistent with images of Walt Whitman.

The group also includes a later color stereograph depicting George H. W. Bush standing with another man in an interior setting, representing a twentieth-century continuation of the stereoscopic portrait format. Together the images illustrate the long tradition of stereographic portraits documenting well-known public figures from the nineteenth century through the modern era.
