Albumen photograph measuring 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" showing the main building of Indiana State Normal School, Terre Haute, Indiana, on a promotional mount by J. O. Bonebrake, Photographer, 907½ Main St. Late 19th century. The image shows the large Romanesque institutional building with central tower viewed from a street intersection.
The printed mount identifies the card as a promotional issue reading "Souvenir Indiana State Normal. Call at Gallery and get one of these Photos FREE." The design includes decorative borders and the printed denomination 1000 at both sides, indicating the piece functioned as a photographic advertising premium or coupon.
