Lot of four albumen carte de visite photographs dating circa 1860s to 1880s, including interior studio portraits featuring stereoscopic viewing equipment. One shows a young child standing beside a tabletop stereoscope and circular stereo rack. Another depicts an older man holding a pipe seated at a table with a woman reading a card, with a stereoscope and stereo views visible on the table. A third portrait shows a standing young woman posed beside a small table displaying a stereoscope, with stereograph cards scattered on the floor. The fourth depicts a seated woman beside a table holding a stereoscope viewer and a book.

Two mounts retain photographer imprints. One is W. C. Perkins, Photographer, Washington, Mo., with printed advertising noting duplicates finished in crayon, India ink, and oil. Another is H. C. Beals, Fulton, N.Y., with decorative studio emblem. The remaining two mounts are unmarked on the verso.

Mount backs include printed studio advertising and decorative typography. Several versos bear penciled inventory notations and dates.
