Sixty-three photographs spanning the carte-de-visite and tintype formats make up this substantial collection, housed in plastic-sleeve album pages and dating broadly across the 1860s through 1890s. Subjects range from individual studio portraits to family groups, with several CDVs bearing photographer imprints on the reverse, including one from Rudolph Uhlman at 333 Franklin Street, St. Joseph, Missouri, and another from G. M. Bradley and Co. advertising their "Dollar Novelty" line marked Class H. Attribution for the tintypes is largely unmarked, consistent with the gem and standard ferrotype trade of the period.

Children are particularly well represented across multiple album pages, appearing in white dresses, buttoned military-style jackets, and plaid frocks, several posed beside studio pedestals or ornate chairs. Adult subjects include seated couples, standing men in vests and cravats, women in dark bodiced dresses with full skirts, and at least one figure in what appears to be a Native costume or theatrical dress. One CDV mount bears a teal decorative border, and one tintype card is inscribed with a name reading "W. H. Rogers" or similar script below an embossed oval mat.

Several reverses carry handwritten inscriptions, a period postage stamp appears affixed to one CDV back, and advertising ephemera including a Boston 99 Cent Store novelty card and a "Greetings" embossed card are interspersed among the photographs.
