Cabinet card albumen photograph showing four identified medical students posed with an articulated human skeleton and anatomical specimens, photographed by G. Th. Hase & Sohn, Karlsruhe No. 4, Freiburg i/B. The image is dated 12 March 1882 and depicts the students seated and standing around a table holding books and study materials, with a skeleton model arranged in a demonstrative pose. A chalkboard behind them bears the Latin anatomical phrase “Os coccygis seu coccygeum.”

The mount identifies the sitters as P. Götze of Weimar, Dr. Mors C. v. Blomberg of Berlin, A. Krause of Danzig, and E. Gresenius of Halle. The formal academic composition and inscriptions indicate a commemorative portrait marking their medical training.

Photographer’s imprint for G. Th. Hase & Sohn appears on the reverse. Handwritten inscriptions on the mount identify the subjects and date the photograph March 12, 1882.
