The mount bears the imprint “Robinson & Roe” with studio addresses printed “77 & 79 Clark St., Chicago” and “54 W. 14th Street, New York.” Such portraits of little person performers were commonly produced and circulated during the late nineteenth century as collectible cabinet cards connected with traveling exhibitions, theatrical productions, and curiosity shows.
The reverse bears a handwritten identification reading “Jennie Quigley, 28 years, 37 inches, 48 pounds.” Cabinet card format with studio imprint on the front mount and later inscription on the reverse.
